For Hegel, the divine order has a rational essence; therefore, the infinite divine order must be present in a finite being in order for the spirit to realize itself in the world. This movement of the spirit appears in “natural religion” and in parallel in symbolic art. “Plant Sculptures” are the first embodied form of the divine order. This primitive form is first shown as simple “columns” on which the least “work” has been done. These columns are mainly architectural components. Independent plant Sculptures are rarely found, because at this step the spirit is not free and its knowledge of itself is limited to the knowledge of plants. There are innocent in “plants religion” who lost with the onset of animal life and the resulting struggle and dynamism. With the end of natural religion and symbolic art, plant sculpture continue to repeal “Aufhebung” form in religions and the art of later periods. Plant religion is the beginning of the expression of the divine commandment embodied in religions در «پدیدارشناسیِ روح»، شواهدی دال بر این‌همانیِ مطلق و امر الهی وجود دارد. امر الهی در نزد هگل ذاتِ عقلانی دارد؛ بنابراین امر الهی بی‌کرانه، می‌بایست در موجودِ کران‌مند حضور یابد تا روح، خود را در جهان محقق سازد. این پویش و عزیمتِ روح در «دین طبیعی» و به موازاتِ آن در هنر نمادین پدیدار می‌شود. «پیکره‌های گیاهی» نخستین ریختِ تن‌یافتۀ امر الهی‌اند. این ریختِ بدوی ابتدا به صورت ستون­های ساده نشان داده می‌شود که کمترین «کار» بر روی آن‌ها انجام شده است. این ستون‌ها عمدتاً از ملحقات معماری هستند. پیکره‌های گیاهیِ مستقل به ندرت یافت می‌شوند، زیرا در این مرحله روح آزاد نیست و شناخت او از خویشتن در حدّ شناختِ گیاهان است. در «دین گیاهان» معصومیتی وجود دارد که با آغاز زیستِ جانوری و پیکار و پویشِ ناشی از آن، از دست می‌رود. با پایان دین طبیعی و هنر نمادین، پیکره‌های گیاهی به­صورتِ «رفع­شده» در ادیان و هنر ادوارِ بعدی تداوم می‌یابد. دین گیاهی، سرآغاز بیان امرِ الهیِ تن‌یافته در ادیان است. https://phm.znu.ac.ir/article_244698_e152df8178db39eabd6757c586a20d3c.pdf
