Therefore, after stating the differences and similarities between the thoughts of John Dewey and Nell Noddings on the subject of education, we have examined three central issues. In the first part, we have examined the relationship between ethics and education in Noddings's thought through the lens of Dewey's thought and we show that the moral goal of education is common to both thinkers, but Noddings does not believe in overt moral principles and instead emphasizes emotions. In the second part of this article, we have tried to show that the emergence of a moral person in the educational system as a goal leads to the emergence of a democratic society. Finally, in the third part of this article, we emphasize that the traditional school curriculum is insufficient and incomplete to achieve the goals of Noddings, which were mentioned in the previous two parts, and that the element of emotions and motivations, as well as the role of home and society and social behavior, should be included in the curriculum at the same time. در این مقاله سعی داریم سهم جان دیویی را در فلسفه تعلیم و تربین نل نادینگز با تمرکز بر مفاهیمی مثل تعلیم و تربیت، دموکراسی، اخلاق، برنامه درسی، مدرسه و عواطف نشان دهیم. از اینرو بعد از بیان تفاوت و تشابه اندیشه جان دیویی و نل نادینگز در موضوع تعلیم و تربیت، به بررسی سه موضوع محوری پرداخته ایم. در بخش نخست نسبت اخلاق و تعلیم و تربیت را در اندیشه نادینگز از دریچه اندیشه دیویی پرداخته ایم و نشان می دهیم که هدف اخلاقی تعلیم و تربیت امری مشترک در هر دو متفکر است لیکن نادینگز قائل به اصول علانی اخلاقی نیست و درعوض بر عواطف تأکید دارد. در بخش دوم این مقاله کوشیده ایم نشان دهیم که پیدایش یک فرد اخلاقی درنظام تربیتی به عنوان یک هدف منجر به پیدایش جامعه دمکراتیک می شود. در نهایت در قسمت سوم این مقاله بر این امر تأکید داریم که برنامه درسی سنتی مدارس برای رسیدن به غایات مورد نظر نادینگز که در دو قسمت قبلی اشاره شد، ناکافی و ناکامل هستند و باید در برنامه درسی عنصر عواطف و انگیزه ها و نیز نقش خانه و جامعه و رفتار اجتماعی همزمان گنجانده شوند. https://phm.znu.ac.ir/article_723439_775b641769b0bb319a159c052c21223a.pdf
