چیستی، چرایی و پیشینه الهیات علمی در غرب

چکیده
الهیات علمی، نتیجه حدود نیم‌قرن تلاش الهی‌دانان معاصر مسیحی در دفاع از الهیات در برابر چالش‌های جدید است. تکیه‌گاه الهی‌دانان در چنین دفاعی علم بوده و آنان با اذعان به‌جایگاه ممتاز علم، درصدد تقویت جایگاه الهیات برآمده‌اند. مسئله اصلی نوشتار حاضر این است که الهیات علمی چیست و چه معیارهایی باعث «علمی» شدن الهیات خواهد بود. چالش‌هایی که الهیات مسیحی با آنها در دوره جدید مواجه شد، خواه‌وناخواه الهیات اسلامی را نیز تاحدی درگیر خواهد کرد و بدین سبب اهمیت دارد تا در قالب چنین مباحثی از تجارب الهی‌دانان مسیحی بهره برد. در این نوشتار، برای پاسخ به مسئله اصلی به آثار الهی‌دانان معاصر که عمدتا متخصص علم و دین نیز هستند مراجعه شده و یافته‌ها حاکی از آن است که از نگاه آنها، الهیات در صورتی «علمی» خواهد بود که از روش‌های کلی پژوهش علمی مانند برنامه پژوهش علم لاکاتوش، تز دوئم-کواین، رویکرد پسینی و نظریه استفاده کند. علاوه بر آنها، واقع‌گرایی به عنوان یکی از مهمترین مبانی علم و همچنین یافته‌ها و نظریه‌های علم نیز مستمسکّ برخی برای علمی شدن الهیات قرار گرفته است. به‌زعم این الهی‌دانان، چنین طرحی باعث اثبات عقلانیت الهیات و دفاع از باورهای آن خواهد بود. این طرح با وجود نقاط مثبت، نقاط منفی را نیز با خود دارد و شاید یکی از مهمترین آنها این است که مشخص نیست چرا علم باید تکیه الهیات باشد و از سوی دیگر، با توجه به اینکه بسیاری روش‌ها، یافته‌ها و مبانی ممکن است تغییر پیدا کنند، الهیات علمی طرحی گذرا و موقتی خواهد بود.

چکیده English

Scientific theology is the result of about half a century of efforts of contemporary Christian theologians in defending theology against new challenges. The supporter of theologians is science, and by acknowledging the privileged position of science, they are trying to strengthen the position of theology. The issue of this article is what scientific theology is and what criteria will make theology "scientific". The challenges that Christian theology faced in the new period will involve Islamic theology to some extent and therefore it is important to benefit from the experiences of Christian theologians in the form of such discussions. to answer the main problem, the works of contemporary theologians who are mostly experts in science and religion were referred to, and the findings indicate that from their point of view, theology will be "scientific" if it is based on the general scientific method such as Lakatosch science research program, Duem-Quine thesis, a posteriori approach and use theory. In addition to them, realism as one of the most important foundations of science, as well as the findings and theories of science, has been used by some to make theology scientific. Despite the positive points, this plan also has negative points, and perhaps one of the most important of them is that it is not clear why science should rely on theology, and on the other hand, considering that many methods, findings and foundations They may change, scientific theology will be a transitory and temporary project.
