Abstract

Abstract: The beginning of our destiny is connected with evil in such a way that the story of the first human, that is, Adam and Eve, is not just an empty myth and a religious story, but the story of the battle for human freedom and autonomy. Evil in Hegel is related to thought itself. When Hegel wants to explain evil, he first investigates the root of evil, and in this investigation, he realizes the idea. According to Hegel, thought is expressed within the soul, after incarnating and disappearing, and beyond physicality in speech and intellect. The criterion for thinking is freedom, which is the essence of consciousness and it is not possible for this freedom to exist without evil. This article tries to show through dialectics that evil, while it can negate freedom, can be created as a human end through the dialectic of evil. In fact, the necessity of freedom can be explained through evil. As soon as the self-aware person descends on this path, he cannot make laws by relying on his inner voice to make himself known to others. Therefore, he must either protect himself from evil or suffer from it. According to Hegel, comparing the beautiful life with the evil, it is the evil that can lead man to his goal, which is freedom.
