چکیده

بحران‌های زیست‌محیطی عصر حاضر محصول عوامل متعدد فکری، فرهنگی، سیاسی و اقتصادی است. نقش عوامل فکری- فلسفی در زایش این بحران‌ها نه تنها نقشی اثرگذار و غیرقابل انکار است؛ بلکه اصولاً نظریات فلسفی از بنیادی‌ترین علل این بحران‌ها محسوب می‌گردند. بدون تردید یکی از تأثیرگذارترین اندیشه‌ها و مبانی فلسفی در زایش بحران‌های زیست محیطی مربوط به فرانسیس بیکن است. وی به گونه‌ای نسبت به پردازش جهان اقدام نموده که تقریبا همۀ اجزای تشکیل دهندۀ فلسفه وی اعمّ از انسان‌شناسی، طبیعت‌شناسی و حتی منطق در خدمت آسایش انسان و تخریب طبیعت و محیط زیست عمل نموده است. هدف این پژوهش این است که حوزه‌های مورد اشارۀ فلسفه بیکن به‌گونه‌ای تبیین شود که تأثیرات آراء و اندیشه‌های وی در زایش بحران‌های زیست محیطی به‌خوبی نشان داده شود. مدعای ما این است که فرانسیس بیکن در جرگه اخلاق زیست محیطی انسان‌محور قرار می‌گیرد.

A Survey on the Role of Francis Bacon in Inaugurating Environmental Crises

چکیده [English]

Contemporary environmental crisis is the product of many factors: intellectual, cultural, political and economic. Not only is the role philosophical perspectives have had in generating this crisis is significant, but also philosophical ideas are among the most fundamental causes of this crisis. Undoubtedly, one of the most influential ideas and philosophical foundations in the generation of the environmental crises are Francis Bacon's theories. The way he has explained the universe, and almost most elements of his philosophical perspectives, i.e. anthropology, nature and logic, have influenced man’s welfare and triggered environmental degradation. This study investigates various areas of the Bacon's philosophy and aims to demonstrate the effect of his opinions on the birth of the environmental crises. It is argued that Francis Bacon is in the category of ethics which endorses anthropocentrism.
