Abstract
Mulla Sadra has experienced three philosophical journeys: the originality of nature, the originality of existence of gradational oneness and the originality of existence of personal oneness. In this article, we analyze the evolutions that have occurred in several important issues of science, which include: "Separation or non-separation between mental existence and science", "issues and problems of mental existence", "the relationship between the soul and its faculties", "the erect estance of forms to soul" and "difference in the stages of known-by-essence and known-by-other. According to the first journey, there is no obvious difference between the mental existence and science, but according to the second journey, there is difference between them and they are not the same. The requirement for this is that unlike mental existence, science is an affair that related to soul, and it is not analogical. The type of answer to the problems that are raised about the mental existence has an important difference in the two journeys. In the first journey, this is achieved by differentiating between the primary and essential predication and common technical predication, but according to the second journey it is achieved by reality and delicacy and according to the third journey, it is achieved by outward and epiphantic form. According to the first journey, instead of faculties, stages can be stated, and according to the last journey, manifestation can be stated. Also, the design of known (known-by-essence, known-by-other and known-by-other-by-other) has experienced fundamental evolutions in terms of three journeys.
